We are proud that we can now include Child, Adolescent & Adult Psychiatric services utilizing evidence methods in an empathic manner. The AAP recommends that all children eat three healthy meals daily with lots of fruits and vegetables, drink 5-6 cups of water daily, have 2-3 servings of calcium containing foods such as milk, yoghurt or cheese, ensure adequate sleep 9-10 hours daily and exercise for at least an hour daily to stay healthy.
Dr. Adeleye recommends that where it is safely possible, all children should return to school in-person as this provides the environment that best supports the social, emotional and cognitive development for your child.
Teachers should receive the support they require to ensure that social distancing is maintained, children should be seated 6ft apart, avoid crowding, use outside spaces when possible, encourage children to wash hands frequently and all adults use masks as well as children when possible.
Behavioral Health Services @Shalom Clinic for Children offers treatment for a range of developmental, behavioral, emotional, social and psychological problems in childhood and adolescence utilizing an integrated care approach. The integrated care model involves working collaboratively with families, schools, community agencies, therapists, and your primary care provider.

Shalom Clinic for Children is pleased to announce that Dr. Ovayoza Adeleye will be offering Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health Services starting in July 2020.
Dr. Ovayoza Adeleye previously trained as a Pediatrician and in addition recently completed specialized training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Psychiatry Post Pediatric Portal Fellowship, University Hospital, Cleveland in June 2020.
Additional counseling services including various individual, family and group therapies are available through various independent licensed counselors by referral.
Dr. Olusegun Adeleye will continue to provide general pediatric care at the same location.
